A song I've always wanted to do!
One of my favorite internet memes currently is the Kombucha Girl. The faces she makes are applicable to just so many things, and also Brittany, the person behind it, is one of the funniest people ever.
Basically, for this song, I took the main points from the video ("it smells like a public restroom" and the faces she makes) and fleshed them out a bit. I wanted to make the main source of "drama" for this song the fact that many people, Brittany included, are pretty neutral on Kombucha and cannot decide if it's good or bad.
In this song, Brittany (played by queen Claire Marie Miller) is struggling to decide whether or not she likes Kombucha. The indecision is causing a crisis within her. Is Kombucha good? Is it bad? That's the tea
I really love this song, especially how serious it is compared with the material. I threw in a bit of "For Good" from Wicked at the end, I think it just amplifies the comedy and actually kind of fits with the music.
It was kind of tricky to do the whole face routine from the tiktok so we "paraphrased" a bit, hope that's ok!
