Koishikawa Korakuen is only one of 3 gardens of feudal lords (daimyo) that remain and many say it is the best. It was started in 1629 and incorporates both Japanese and Chinese influences.
After walking through Koishikawa Korakuen, you will never see Tokyo as only a concrete jungle ever again.
Koishikawa Korakuen is open daily 9 AM - 5 PM. Admission is ¥300. Closed Dec 29-Jan 1.
