This video is about knots for ham radio and how to make knots which would be useful for Ham Radio outdoorsy activities. My favorite five knots are: the Bowline knot, the Taut-line Hitch, the Cow Hitch, the Trucker’s Hitch and the Prusik knot. I also briefly mention the Fishermen’s knot as a method of creating loops needed for the Prusik knot.

These five knots are just a small part of hundreds of knots available for camping enthusiasts and , surely, the Ham Radio operators who love to go outdoorsy and make Nature their shack.

In the end of this video I’m having fun making some QRP contacts on 20m band. I was using my special antenna for this band , The Mini Mono- 20. It’s a full-size End-fed Half Wave dipole for 20m band, and “mini” marks it has been designed to use with my mono-band QCX-mini transceiver.
