If bows are your thing, one of 'those questions' would be what would it look like to get shot at by a body of archers? Well to some extent this may answer that.

I was on a reenactment at Kentwell Hall with a load of friends so we got the bows and the cameras out and filmed 10 archers shooting at a helmet. Sorry about the quality from inside the helmet, but hopefully it gives you a flavour.

My interpretation is that you would have enough time to know that trouble was swiftly coming, but not enough time to know which one the lethal arrow was going to be.
