February 13, 2026. Kīlauea is keeping us on our toes! While we briefly saw some spatter at the South Vent, the summit switched back to weak deflation at 9:30 PM last night.

Despite this morning's slide, we are still sitting at a net +28.6 microradians of inflation since Episode 41. The volcano is pressurized, but this current DI (Deflation-Inflation) event has shifted our forecast window for Episode 42 fountaining to February 14–17.

Current Volcano Status:
Tilt: Sliding down in a weak deflationary event.
Net Recharge: +28.6 microrads total.
Activity: Moderate glow at both vents; brief spatter noted at South Vent.
Seismic: Steady tremor; earthquake activity remains low.

Watch out—this system can pop right back into inflation at any moment. We are on high alert as the new window opens tomorrow!
