This is the full timelapse of Episode 26 of Kīlauea’s ongoing summit eruption, captured by the USGS V3 cam on June 20, 2025.

Fountaining began just after 1:40 AM HST and lasted nearly 9 hours.
This sequence shows the eruption’s peak activity from the south rim of Halemaʻumaʻu crater — from lava surges to vent transitions and the post-eruption glow.
