Since New Horizons came out, people have since unlocked K.K. and learned of the secret/invalid songs. Timestamps are at the end of the description. This video showcases the invalid songs in the gamecube version of Animal Crossing.
After seeing this video youtube.com/watch?v=Xs2r-iUzXNE and this one youtube.com/watch?v=8TfGmsyo9EU which showed the "fake/invalid" songs in New Horizons/New Leaf, I decided to boot up my GC copy of Animal Crossing to see if any of the songs that had been introduced in newer games were invalid in the GC version. Sure enough, Forest Life appeared in other games. If any of you have ideas of what the other invalid songs refer to (if anything) feel free to drop a comment.

Afaik there are only 3 invalid songs in the Gamecube version. I tested to see if there were more but I don't think so.
