In this episode I embark on a 4-day journey through the wilderness of England in search of the mythical "Turkey Balls Falls", an idealised version of my own perfect waterfall, which I will name in honour of my favourite travel writer, Bill Bryson, who first invented that name.
Along the way I do a great deal of walking, hiking, trekking, and waddling, with a fair amount of panting and sweating. I'm hideously fat and out of condition, but I soldier gamely on with grit and determination, and the ever-present thought in my head, "one more step... just one more step!"
I cross hilly terrain, ford rivers, hike desolate moors, scramble through woodland, and negotiate tricky stiles, all in service to the single-minded obsession of finding the perfect waterfall.
Will I succeed? Well, on this quest I may have bitten off more than I can chew!
Filmed in the beautiful countryside of the Peak District in Derbyshire, and the West Yorkshire Moors.
