KISS Style Rock / 70s Hard rock guitar backing track in Am (or C maj)
The key is A minor. It switches to the relative major (C Maj) for the turn over. I was playing a similar Kiss song (Deuce) with the band this last weekend and realized how cool this riff is to improv over - so here is a version you can have just as much fun with.
I say '70s' style, but realistically with these sounds it's definitely more modern. I'm thinking of the inspiration for this piece which came out in the late 70s. :)
Basically the riff is based on an 'A' thing (lots of scales will work). The turnaround is Cmaj, with E5, F5 and G5 as passing chords.
Guitar was a USA Charvel So-Cal through a Marshall JVM 410 head, bass a Fender Jazzbass through an Ampeg SVT head.
