Unfortunately, there’s not a whole lot I can tell you about this 23-year-old Kirkland single malt. Due to non-disclosure agreement between Costco and Alexander Murray & Co. (the independent bottler) all we know is its age, that it’s from a single Speyside distillery, it’s sherried, it retail around $85 and was bottled at 92 proof. I was first introduced to this line a few years ago when the 20 year was introduced and making a splash in the whisky community. Unfortunately for me here in Texas, our Costco’s are not allowed to sell spirits, so I’ve had to go out of my way to secure bottles of these when I’m visiting other states. Well, let's see what I think of the 23, and whether or not we should be seeking it out. For grins, I’m going to compare the 22-year-old version at the end of their add-free video (a link to my Patreon channel is below).

I've been actively collecting for more than two decades and what started as a small basic home bar has transformed (with the help and understanding of my wonderful wife) into this collection and career.
