That's right, I'm blaming YOU, the VIEWER. For ME not DOING... things. EMPHASIS!

I can't believe you didn't watch the thing that couldn't be watched, because it's been sitting in bizarre video drydock for... um... HOW long again?

... ... ...let's just say mistakes were made. Definitely. It's for the best.

As Kirby games go, however. This one is the one that I can always count on to keep me coming back. With hostages! So it was definitely going to happen EVENTUALLY... I think.

(I may or may not be on a bit of a sudden-onset Kirby kick at the moment anyway, so that might have something to do with spontaneously remembering to resurrect this thing.)

Anyway, as we last left off, we were playing Milky Way WIshes, the game in the whole collection that says NO MORE COPY ABILITIES! ...unless you go out and FIND them at their source! Like a collectible, infinitely reusable item. Wait, is Kirby an HM sl-- umm... Secret Agent?!

This, of course, assumes you don't put two and two together and find a very secret location on the galactic chart to find the one ability that is... debatably the most useless ability in the game, because it just does what Kirby can naturally already do anyway. Except in this one game!

Except for the Helper, of course. T.A.C. is, without reservation, THE single most powerful Helper in the game. Because it essentially results in a second Kirby... who has BETTER natural attack and defense capabilities... AND regains all HP upon copying an enemy. And since this is the designated Copy ABILITY, not Kirby's own neutralized capacity for copying enemies' abilities, it's fully functional at all times. Unlike Kirby, who's using an ability to exploit a technical loophole in the sub-game's rules, T.A.C. is making off like a bandit with everything that isn't nailed down.

Oh. And. Um. Like. With ANY ability, you can actually create a Helper, so P2 doesn't have to just sit and watch. (Now it's Kirby's time to sit and watch, because THIS Helper is a Hero instead... ... ... just so long as Kirby remembers to babysit the screen scroll, since the cameraman is unusually fixated on him instead for whatever reason.)

Grass Planet Floria:

So, the gimmick of this planet is that it's composed of four (nearly) identical "rooms," and (almost) every doorway will take you to a corresponding alternate space in the same exact place in a predictable cycle. The difference being that these "rooms" reflect the same location in a different "season"... you're time traveling, Kirby!

This actually makes Floria one of the most high-concept stages in the game. Simply navigating it to the end is fairly straightforward, but combing through its nooks and crannies for the treasure of Deluxe Copy Abilities to collect can be a little disorienting on occasion. Or at least tiresome, since there are more places and combinations of factors than things to collect.

If it's any consolation, due to the number of stages versus the number of copy abilities in the game, there will only be three Deluxe Copy Abilities on any given planet. Unless there's two. Or I suppose ? has just Copy on it... so hopefully you've been counting?!

An interesting quirk of having Copy to copy Abilities before picking up their respective Deluxe Copy Ability is that you'll be treated to a surprisingly basic sound effect for touching the supremely valuable object when you're already in the Ability it contains. Don't worry, you'll still add it to your collection regardless.

Incidentally, if your Helper touches the Deluxe Copy Ability, they will immediately transform into the Helper associated with that Ability, as one might expect. However, if T.A.C. temporarily has that ability, no transformation will take place, just like Kirby touching an Ability he already has... but T.A.C. will remain T.A.C. all the same and can freely discard the borrowed Ability as if nothing had happened.

Okay. Well. I mean, *I* thought it was interesting, anyway.

BOSS: Twin Woods

There are many enemies in the game that have... interesting interactions with attacks by various abilities. Twin Woods is one of them, in that neither tree seems to be granted the consideration of any mercy invulnerability to T.A.C.'s hand after sustaining a hit from it. And the trunks of Twin Woods will return the glove back to its owner, meaning you can fire it again rapidly.

Regular Whispy, on the other hand, seems to have SOME different consideration, because the glove will not experience this boon upon registering a hit, ironically making THIS boss fight EASIER for T.A.C. than the easiest boss in many a Kirby game.
