mugg1991 | Kirby Amazing Mirror ~ Cook glitch, food stacking @mugg1991 | Uploaded October 2017 | Updated October 2024, 33 minutes ago.
I recently finished a luascript which shows hitboxes among other things:
tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?p=459600#459600
Using the script, I found out that Cook Glitch turns enemies that have been fetched to the bowl into food items in advance. Since Kirby never starts cooking, those food items are never spawned and they fill up enemy/object slots. If done repeatedly... well, you see in the video what happens.
How to:
1) Do cook glitch:
- Use cook ability without enemies on screen
- During the last 19 frames of your ability, an enemy has to move onto the screen and a helper Kirby has to absorb an ability which freezes your screen briefly. If done correctly, the enemy will be frozen in the air.
2) Do one of the following:
- Get smooched by helper Kirby
- Open chest
- Be grabbed by enemy and escape without getting hurt
- Be startled (by Magic outcome such as Metaknight, or all enemies turn to food, etc.)
- (there might be more methods that I didn't discover yet)
3) Use your cook ability until the enemy has reached the bowl and despawns.
4) Fetch one (!) new enemy, and repeat until crash.
There is probably no use for this, but idk.
