Rudyard Kipling is an important English poet. Here is the prelude to his lighter verse, known as Departmental Ditties. If you are a Kipling fan like me, you have a book with all his poems in it. Mine is called Rudyard Kipling, Definitive Edition. And I got it as a present when I was a little girl. It is as worn as my first Bible.
