We're each aboard this spaceship,
Together, but alone,
And no kind words escape lips,
Not even from my own.

But sometimes when we fight
It almost feels all right,
For when we're killing others,
We're all on the same side.
I want to touch your mind,
To look inside and find
The warmth and the affection
I knew with my own kind.

The Auron young are brought up
To trust and even share
Their deepest thoughts with others,
As Earthmen never dare.

But I have been a rebel,
The Auron peace I've spurned.
I left my world forever!
And now I can't return.

And even if I went back,
They could not know me well,
For they are so contented,
And I have been through hell!

So Liberator's home now,
Her crew my only mates.
Together, and yet lonely,
We share one feeling: hate!

I want to touch your mind,
