Kingdom Rush was one of the biggest tower defense flash games that ever came out. When it came out, it did so many more things right than other defense games. You could choose so many different towers and strategies, and the gameplay and art style were especially satisfying. The upgrades from stars were fun and very useful. All of the maps had new enemies and was an all new adventure to check out.
Later on they added heroes to Kingdom Rush. Sort of a 2.0 version where you could unlock them and play some extra levels they added to the game. It was another great addition to the mix and it was neat to see all the different heroes and how their abilities work.
