Our version of "Simple and Clean" from Kingdom Hearts performed live at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Sakura Matsuri 2019, on April 28, 2019. Originally by Utada Hikaru, this arrangement by Khrys Williams.

WE WAITED ALMOST 14 YEARS! ... We got what we asked for, right? Well, regardless of how you felt about the latest installment, everyone can wholeheartedly agree that the impact this series had on an entire generation of people is unquestionable. The first time we all popped that disc into our PS2 for the first time back in 2002 was a riveting experience, and the first thing we heard when that cutscene played? THIS. This MAGIC. So, naturally, we had to pay our respect to this unprecedented fusion of worlds with our own arrangement to explore just why this song has lasted the test of time. If you notice, Khrys fused elements from the Japanese "Hikari" and "Simple and Clean" to create this new chart, and there are hints throughout the piece to the planitB remix that we have come to know and love. You can also hear some shredding solos by Matt Wong on keys, dueling trumpets by Max and Khrys, and another face melter by Patrick on sax at the end. Dig how much fun Norman is having on drums!
