So, I've been trying this out for a change. Instead of recording myself playing, which is actually way harder and time consuming than using finale, I'm going to type up sheets and get as close to the original as I can. When I figure out a song, although it is tempting, I try not to add or change anything... If i'm doing an arrangement, than that's different... but when I sound out a song, especially one that doesn't have sheets yet, I aim to get it exactly the same as the original. I do tend to make somewhat creative endings though. Anyway, after relistening to some of my covers, I realized I've been way off, and am trying to fix the rhythms and tempos on finale. What do you think? Did I get close to the original? Do you like my other cover more?
