I just got around to writing the sheets for my version of Sinister Sundown, but as I was notating it, I listened to the original and decided to change quite a bit of it. The sheets are not ready to be emailed because now that I have the timing right, I have to adjust it to the right format, (quarter note tied to an eight note vs. a dotted quarter...) stuff like that.
Anyway, I'm actually pretty proud of how this turned out. I feel as though this is the closest arrangement that I've ever done. I was tempted to throw in some scales and random melodies, but that would go against my philosopy of staying as close to the original as possible. What do you think?
is the new arrangement better, or the old one? (I know that I didn't play the old one very well, so I will repost which ever arrangment people seem to like more.)
