Welcome to episode 36 of Kingdom Hearts Easter Eggs & Hidden Details.
In todays episode I wanted to discuss what happens to the Dream Weapons (The Dream Rod, Dream Shield and Dream Sword), which are the weapons that appear at the beginning of the game (In the Awakening).
Eventually Donald obtains the Dream Rod from Merlin (he gives it to us if we speak to Merlin after fully upgrading all our spells). Goofy obtains the Dream Shield from Merlin as well (he gives it to us if we collect all 7 magic "Arts" from the White Mushrooms. We obtain an art by casting the same 3 spells on a White Mushroom. For example Fire x 3 on a White Mushroom will give us a "Fire Arts").
However Sora never obtains the Dream Sword and I always wondered why... until today! The Dream Sword actually does appear, but in the form of the Ultima Weapon Keyblade, with the mighty Keyblade synthesised by the Moogles using the blade from the Dream Sword (the blade of the Ultima Weapon is the exact same as the blade from the Dream Sword, so it must've been used during the synthesis process).
In this series I aim to compile every Easter Egg/ Hidden Detail in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix (these are various things located across the game that are easily missed or little bits of information that I find interesting). Look out for more episodes in the series & you might discover some new secrets you never knew about.

Hello everybody its ShadyRiku and in light of my recent Mini Games Guide, I decided to try and beat the world records for the various Mini Games in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, including the Phil Cup Time Trial. This is not a tutorial but I will leave some information down here to help if you would like to try yourself. I may make a Mini Games Guide Part 2, where I go into detail on how to get close to/ beat the current World Records for the Mini Games in Kingdom Hearts, so if you would like to see that let me know in the comments.
