Welcome to episode 23 of Kingdom Hearts Easter Eggs & Hidden Details.
Now in the Olympus Coliseum after finishing a round, each party member will perform 1 of 3 victory animations, although only one party member (at random) will be zoomed in on.
However today we are going to have a closer look at Sora's three victory poses, which are all based on the victory poses of various character from the Final Fantasy games.
The first gesture, where Sora spins his keyblade before resting it behind his neck, is based on Cloud's victory animation from Final Fantasy VII.
Sora's second potential winning pose, sees him slash the air before turning his back to the camera, identical to what we see Squall (or as we know him; Leon) do in Final Fantasy VIII, after being victorious in battle.
And from the same game, Final Fantasy VIII, there's a character called Zell, who engages in various fist pump motions after battle, which is the most similar pose I could find to Sora's final victory animation, where he thrusts himself forward before punching the air.
In this series I aim to compile every Easter Egg/ Hidden Detail in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix (these are various things located across the game that are easily missed or little bits of information that I find interesting). Look out for more episodes in the series & you might discover some new secrets you never knew about.
