It's been so long, but I finally made it. I officially hit quadruple digits in terms of subscribers. It took me a while to think of what I wanted to do for commemoration, until I thought of something from Touhou Kourinden ~ Mythos of Phantasmagoria. In the Drillimation Danmaku Universe canon, the Federal Kingdom of Gensokyo held its first military parade shortly after its establishment. Using the Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular from Walt Disney World as the basis, I put together a medley of themes from the Mythos of Phantasmagoria duology, with a bit of Chuhou Joutai shoehorned in between.
To prevent things from getting too complicated, I broke down this original into eight movements, with each one being an arrangement of a theme using the instruments I've selected below. Even writing a parade medley similar to what you hear at the end of a Mario RPG can be complicated. This entire medley took four days to write, and I ended up with a lot more material than I anticipated. I didn't expect this whole medley to be almost twelve minutes in length, making it the longest piece of original music I've ever written, and nearly three times longer than my 10th anniversary medley from last year.
