Dancer and choreographer Dimitri Chamblas joins forces with musician, songwriter, and visual artist Kim Gordon for an intimate and highly experimental evening of improvisatory music and movement. Each iteration of the duet is unique and the tussle between two bodies searching for a common language always answers and transcends its context.

$Artists on Artists: Sanford Biggers on With Pleasure Applying the fractal and geometric logic of decorative quilt patterns to three-dimensional forms, artist Sanford Biggers remixes textiles as a way to explore his idea of sacred geometry. While he was in graduate school, Biggers met with artist Joyce Kozloff, who introduced him to the work of Miriam Schapiro. On how he was inspired by these two artists central to the Pattern and Decoration (P&D) movement, Biggers says, “Miriam, Joyce, and the P&D movement as a whole offered a model of how artists can address inequity aesthetically and institutionally.” Biggers leads a walkthrough of With Pleasure: Pattern and Decoration in American Art 1972–1985.$
