A new copy of the 1992 UK PIF, sourced largely from an original PAL VHS recording. This upload has had three graphic images censored similarly to what ephermalfilm uploaded to YouTube from a 16mm print, however, I am making the uncensored version available for those who want to view it as the director originally intended it on the Internet Archive at archive.org/details/killing-time-1992.
This programme tells the story of a group of children who decide to use a railway line as a short cut home. One child does not make it across the tracks, being killed by a train.
Includes interviews with train drivers whose trains have killed trespassers, police officers who have had to clear up the aftermath and inform relatives and, finally, with the mother of a teenage victim. The story and the interviews leave the viewer with a clear message not to trespass upon railway property and lines.

The drama is based on the true story of Princess Mishaal, a young Saudi Arabian princess and her lover who had been publicly executed for adultery. Its depiction of the customs of Saudi Arabia led some Middle Eastern governments to oppose its broadcast under threat of damaging trade relations.
This upload is sourced from original Betacam masters of the program which were donated to me by a loving archival enthusiast who will remain anonymous. Nakki wa Tsumujikaze (known here as Nakki) was a Japanese youth/school television drama broadcast on the TBS network from October 11, 1978 to March 12, 1980, Wednesdays from 7:30–8:00 p.m. Contemporary database records give it 64 episodes. It was produced by TBS and Toho.
This master recording from a 1980 dubbed broadcast on New York superstation WOR-TV was obtained in a trade and is an interesting add to the collection, showing an American television station showing Japanese programming long before it grew a massive following.")

On the night of November 22, 1987, the television signals of two stations in Chicago, Illinois, were hijacked, briefly sending a pirate broadcast of an unidentified person wearing a Max Headroom mask and costume to thousands of home viewers.
The first incident took place during the sports segment of independent TV station WGN-TVs 9:00 p.m. newscast. Like the later signal intrusion, it featured a person wearing a mask swaying erratically in front of a swiveling corrugated metal panel, apparently meant to resemble Max Headrooms animated geometric background. Unlike the later intrusion, the only sound was a loud buzz. This interruption went on for almost 17 seconds before engineers at WGN were able to regain control of their broadcast tower.
The second incident occurred about two hours later during PBS member station WTTWs broadcast of the Doctor Who serial Horror of Fang Rock. With nobody on duty at the affected tower, this signal takeover was more sustained, and the masked figure could be heard making reference to the real Max Headrooms advertisements for New Coke, the animated TV series Clutch Cargo, WGN sportscaster Chuck Swirsky, Greatest World Newspaper nerds, and other seemingly unrelated topics. The video concluded with the masked figure presenting his bare buttocks to a woman with a flyswatter while yelling Theyre coming to get me!, with the woman responding Bend over, bitch! and lightly spanking him with it as the figure was crying and screaming. At that point, the hijackers ended the pirate transmission, and normal programming resumed after a total interruption of about 90 seconds.
A criminal investigation conducted by the Federal Communications Commission in the immediate aftermath of the intrusion could not find the people responsible, and despite many unofficial inquiries and much speculation over the ensuing decades, the culprits have yet to be positively identified.
The Museum of Classic Chicago Televisions recording of the incident was passed through ElevenLabs Voice Isolator, and some interesting results have come from it. Enjoy!")

Redactions were made by the department per Florida law.")
