We begin on eastbound US 6 in Keystone, CO and immediately begin the ascent to Loveland Pass. This 10,990 foot pass on the Continental Divide is a very scenic alternative to the tunnels on I-70 below. We head down from the pass to I-70, where we make our way east until we reach the point where US 6 once again branches off of I-70. We head east on US 6 for a relatively short distance until we come to Colorado state route 119, on which we head north to Black Hawk.
