Welcome to my unedited live performance demo of the Traveler instrument plugin from KeySolutions Sounds. There are no additional effects, everything you hear is coming from Traveler.
Most all the lead patches with "SJ" at the end, they're just tweaked presets from the other sound designers. I dialed up the first sound from scratch, and I had my own basic lead (Init SJ) sound setup before I started.
While this video is focused more on the lead and single note stuff, Traveler is a really deep poly synth that does fantastic pads, drones, and other kinds of sounds. I'm sure other videos will have those facets well covered...
I'm sending breath as aftertouch rather than CC:02, because the modulation matrix has an adjustable slew rate (Settings - Aftertouch Smoothing 5 ms, 10 ms, 20 ms, etc.). While there's MIDI learn to map breath to the filter, the smoothing adjustment is a great feature. You can also send breath (aftertouch) to more than one destination using the Modulation controls. For example, breath to filter frequency and filter resonance in differing amounts, etc.
