John Calvin, Keysight's Senior Internet Infrastructure Product Planner, debuts the industry's first automated test system for 224G physical layer validation at DesignCon 2022. Using an M8199A arbitrary waveform generator and the N1000A/N1060A DCA-X sampling and the UXR1102A real-time oscilloscopes, the demo showcases SNDR and jitter measurements-- just two of the precision measurements supported by Keysight's oscilloscope architectures. With support for emerging OIF-CEI 224G specifications, this solution enables progress on 1.6T designs.
