Keynote: Growing Ceph Knowledge in the User + Developer Community - Laura Flores, Software Engineer & Neha Ojha, Program Director, Core RADOS Development, Ceph, IBM
The User + Developer Meetup is a virtual platform that encourages collaboration between users and developers. We invite regulars and newcomers alike to hear all about the platform’s recent accomplishments, ongoing efforts, future plans, and details on getting involved.
Additionally, in April 2024, the User Council was launched with a mission to gather actionable user feedback for developers. We identified “performance” and “orchestration” as foundational Ceph topics and appointed council members to identify and address issues for each. Beyond expanding user and developer participation in the platform, our aim is to appoint new council members to lead other topics such as quality, scalability, usability, protocols (like S3), and security.
