A spin-off to the Kenka Bancho series starring 2 brothers who travel to Tokyo to become the best delinquents in the area, touring famous locations across Japan and trying to impress the girl of their dreams. The mission structure allows for pick-up-and-play sessions on the go or at home, and 2 player ad-hoc co-op (disabled for PSP 1000 owners) gives players the chance to express their appearance, combos, and special moves to tag together with a friend. Due to this, exploration is kept to a minimal, akin to Monster Hunter, where players explore small sections of a map stringed together by loading screens. While not the large open world that made Kenka Bancho 5 felt like one of its kind on PSP, this entry refines the engine to its absolute limits, thanks to dynamic shading, smooth performance, and a tight, free-form combat system.
