This is a no-chat-work-through-the-modes-with-clean-and-dirty-sounds demo for those who'd rather not listen to me babble on.
If you could smooth out all of the repeats and transients of the original Halo Delay (which is a killer) and just have the 'wash' or reverb effect of said delay, you would have something very close to this new one from the Keeley/Timmons crew, the Andy Timmons Nocturne Reverb. To play it and float in its sonic glory is kind of otherworldly and it's very easy to spend vast amounts of time just bathing in it. But you'll get an amazing Spring reverb AND a faithful reproduction of the famed Austin City Limits Plate Reverb as well. Technically, it's proper stereo (or mono); full MIDI implementation; remote, MIDI and expression pedal ready and you can run it in true or buffered bypass without having to open the case. Brilliant - as usual! But, man, that sound... whoa.
