Please excuse the occasional reception issues, as I had to set up my TV capture device and antenna up rather quickly, and without a signal amplifier.
These storms started out earlier in the afternoon, with one big storm between Mitchell and Salem, which then joined with two other storm cells that developed to the south. By the time it got to Sioux Falls, it already produced two confirmed tornado touchdowns and localized flash flooding.
Sioux Falls did get tornado warned, but that part of the storm began to dissipate as it moved over the city. Unfortunately, the southern part of the line remained pretty strong, even producing a PDS (potentially dangerous situation) tornado warning at one point.
