I hiked and packrafted 60km through one of Europe’s most underrated adventure regions — Luxembourg’s Mullerthal area — and it honestly blew me away.
Last year I completed the Mullerthal Trail and fell in love with this place: the mossy forests, the caves, the rock formations, the quiet valleys. I knew I had to come back… but this time I wanted something different.
So I booked a 2-day packrafting adventure with PackraftTravel.nl — combining hiking, kayaking, and a whole lot of sweat across forests, farmland, and the Luxembourg River.
This is the full story of my 2-day solo journey, starting in Berdorf and winding through green canyons, small villages, peaceful trails, and crystal-clear river sections. From assembling an inflatable kayak under the watchful eyes of strangers… to paddling through gentle rapids… to waking up to one of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen — this trip had everything I love about adventure.
