The Kawai ES8 was one of Kawai's highest end stage pianos, with excellent tones, a premium build quality, and a great visual aesthetic, although its speakers were a bit quiet and its action was loud and, in my opinion, not quite as nice as it could have been. The Kawai ES8 is now several years old, and Kawai decided it was time to refresh the model line with the ES920. Many things have changed, but many things have also remained very similar. Let's see what separates these two instruments, and let's see what they have in common!
