Probably one of the best days ever here in Kauai!
We got to visit a nearby Farmers Market in the north shore, and made a new furry friend!
Susan, one of our past roommates at our Airbnb showed me a flyer of the Kauai Humane Society, with an event that they do every day (except Wednesdays) to take a shelter dog out on a field trip! How freaking cute is that?! I definitely could NOT leave Kauai without being a part of this program! (They also have this program in Maui).
So we decided to stay in Kapaa for a weekend and take a doggie hiking at the stunning Sleeping Giant Trail :)
Best decision ever! We had so much fun getting to know Ellen! And to make things better, we invited our new friends Matt and Chloe to come join us for the hike, too! (So sorry, we were so focused on Ellen that we totally forgot to do a formal introduction!! Maybe next time!)
We had an incredible day and while it was so sad having to return her to the shelter, I hope that we made her day, and hope that she will find a forever home soon!

After getting married, we realized that owning a big house and working at a big company wasn't our definition of success and it certainly wasn’t making us happy.
We realized that we are our happiest when we’re traveling and learning about different cultures, so we decided to follow that passion and go on an adventure around the world. We still have a lot to learn about life and happiness, but we want to share our journey and experiences with you, and hope to inspire you to follow your passion.
