Kate's back on this early show today to talk about being on DWTS, her upcoming book/tour, and possible new TLC shows. What a busy person.
The latest drama in the saga is the custody battle. It's kinda ironic because with so many other nasty custody disputes, I was a little surprised they seemed to both agree on joint shared custody. Now comes Jon again making an ass of himself suing for custody of the kids. He's also going for a little mudslinging with the absentee mom accusation. Such drama! Obviously Jon got screwed by TLC with all the legal fees and not being supported by TLC. They effectively made it impossible for him to make a living doing what he's been doing - unfair compared to kate! So unless he gets a "normal" job (although there's no way anyone could afford the child support), gets custody to avoid child support, or let's the kids be on TV to pay their own child support he's screwed. The custody crap is stupid, but with TLC leaving so few options, Jon's kinda backed into a corner.
I don't care if Kate wants to be a star and travel a lot. That's fine. But she can't do it and claim every time that she's "working" and has to to provide for her kids. That's the sympathy card, and there are other options. To provide a lavish and extravagant lifestyle for her family then she does need to continue what she's doing.
