On March 13th, WIF (Women In Film, Los Angeles) hosted an event to commemorate and toast to all of the women Academy Awards® nominees at the 19th annual WIF Oscars Nominees Celebration at Wheelhouse, the former party villa of Oscar-winning actress Bette Davis.
The evening celebrated the women, both in front of and behind the camera, who have been nominated for an Academy Award® this year. The WIF Oscar Nominees Celebration is the culmination of the organization’s advocacy work during awards season and was presented by Max Mara, with additional support from ShivHans Pictures, Delta Air Lines, Maison Perrier, and Peroni.

Founded in 1973 as Women In Film Los Angeles, WIF advocates for and advances the careers of women working in the screen industries—in front of and behind the camera, across all levels of experience—to achieve parity and transform culture.
We work to change culture through our distinguished programs, including mentoring, speaker and screening series, a production training program, writing labs, film finishing funds, legal aid, and an annual financing intensive. WIF advocates for gender parity through research, education, and media campaigns. And, we build a community centered around these goals, anchored by our signature events, including the WIF Annual Gala and Female Oscar Nominees Party, along with programs honoring the achievements of women in Hollywood, like the Legacy Series. Membership is open to all screen industry professionals.
