We viewed a few African Buffalo browsing in the bush in the Karongwe Private Game Reserve, South Africa. We were a bit apprehensive since our guide told us that of the Big 5 animals, the African Buffalo is the only one that doesn’t give you a warning before it charges. We were happy to depart the area as one of them began staring at us intensely.
This experience was part of The Great Southern African Safari organized by G Adventures working in partnership with National Geographic Expeditions.
