Video clips from a scenic 11-minute ride with a 360° view from the Mammoth Gondola as it descends 3,100 ft down the mountain. The gondola starts at the summit at an altitude of 11,053 ft, drops through McCoy mid-station located at 9,630 ft, and ends at the base station at 7,953 ft. The video was taken on August 30, 2023, only three weeks after skiing was discontinued on the mountain and after a 2022/2023 winter with very heavy snowfall (~400 inches).
