Globally, only around 4500 tigers survive in the wild today, of which over 3000 are found in India. Karnataka is one of the most important tiger states in India reporting 435 unique tigers photographed across its five Tiger Reserves namely Nagarahole, Bandipur, Biligiriranganathaswamy Temple (BRT), Bhadra and Kali, during its 2022 tiger monitoring exercise.
Today on Global Tiger Day, celebrated to bring awareness and conservation focus to our most important apex predator, Karnataka Forest Department proudly presents this short film in collaboration with Felis Creations & narrated by Karnataka’s star representative for conservation, Rishab Shetty.
This video is dedicated to all the staff of the Karnataka Forest Department who work tirelessly to help protect our National animal.

ವಿಶ್ವಾದ್ಯಂತ, ಇಂದು ಸುಮಾರು 4500 ಹುಲಿಗಳು ಬದುಕುಳಿದಿವೆ, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 3000 ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಒಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಹುಲಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶವಾಗಿದ್ದು, 2022 ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸುಮಾರು 435 ವಿವಿಧ ಹುಲಿಗಳ ಛಾಯಾಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು 5 ಹುಲಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಿತ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವರದಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ, ಅವುಗಳೆಂದರೆ - ನಾಗರಹೊಳೆ, ಬಂಡೀಪುರ, ಬಿಳಿಗಿರಿರಂಗನಾಥಸ್ವಾಮಿ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನ (BRT) ಭದ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಳಿ.
ಇಂದು ‘ವಿಶ್ವ ಹುಲಿ ದಿನ’ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅರಿವು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ಗಮನ ತರಲು ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚಾರಿಸಲಗಿದೆ ಈ ಕಿರುಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ಫೆಲಿಸ್ ಕ್ರಿಯೇಷನ್ಸ್ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಹಾಗು ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಯಾಗಿ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಚಲನಚಿತ್ರ ನಟ, ರಿಷಬ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ.
