Receptionist tries to enforces cell phone policy, makes a scene, then reports a civil disturbance
in progress. Deputy Sheriffs respond, respect 1st Amendment Rights, then goes 10-8.

November 2nd 2020, Parklane Precinct receptionist Yolanda tattle tales to poll workers,
tells them that I'm recording voters. Poll Manager Martin asks me to leave, orders staff to
call the police, and falsely reports that I've been there before, and have been asked to leave.
November 3rd 2020 Parklane Precinct is staffed with new poll workers. I go in again to
to get a count of the machines, but the receptionist calls the police again.
21 minutes later Richland County units start arriving. Deputy Crutchlow makes contact
with the recreation employees, and the Poll Manager. He consults with staff attorney
Chief Deputy Joanna McDuffie, then informs me that I can record until my hearts content.
My original intentions were to get a count of the voting machines, and document the lines.
Introduce myself to the Poll Manager, let them know that I would like to come in for no more
than 3 minutes, get a count of the machines, and move on. But after observing poll workers
yelling at people in line to turn off their cell phones, I realized it wasn't going to be that easy,
but it was necessary for the these public servants to know the law, county policy, and to
respect constitutional rights.
The 2012 Election Corruption Hearings reviled that the Richland County Board of Voter Registration & Elections were manipulating the number of voting machines distributed
throughout the county polling places. Purposefully not equipping certain precincts with
enough machines causing voters to give up voting, or wait in line up to 4 hours.
The Penny Sales Tax Referendum, 1% sales tax increase passed narrowly.
The conclusion to the investigation was that the corruption was politically motivated.
Chief Deputy Joanna McDuffie denied my FOIA request for BodyCam Data footage May 2021.
After requesting for it January 2021. Denying it citing the law of "we don't have to, and we're not".
South Carolina Election Commission Poll Managers Handbook P.46 says,
As a courtesy to others, Poll Managers are ONLY to ask voters not to use cell phones,
tablets, or cameras in the voting area.
SC Code of Laws 7- 13 -100
Poll Managers shall take the oath to solemnly swear to conduct elections according to Law.
SC Code of Laws 7-25-100
It is unlawful for a voter to allow his ballot to be seen.
SC Code of Laws 7-13-130
Secrecy of the ballot shall be preserved at all times.
SC Code of Laws 7-13-160
No Sheriff or Policeman shall be allow to come within the polling place except to vote
unless summoned by the Poll Manager.
