This is visit number one with these self-entitled ill-informed postal employees.

Postal Employees get triggered over my camera. And are completely uninformed on their rules governing photography on postal property disclosed in Poster 7. They abandon their work stations, and refuse to wait on customers in line.
Guy in plain clothes approaches, and demands I leave the property. He flashes a badge, identifies as a Postal Inspector. He tells me I will be detained, arrested by the City of Columbia Police for trespassing if I don't leave the property.
I ask him for his badge number, his supervisor's name, and I comply with his unlawful demand. I file a complaint the next day, and follow up with his superior on the phone the following week. May 27th 2021

Photographs for News, Advertising, or Commercial Purposes.
Photographs for news purposes may be taken in entrances, lobbies, foyers, corridors, or auditoriums when used for public meetings except where prohibited by official signs or security force personnel or other authorized personnel or a federal court order or rule.
Other photographs may be taken only with the permission of the local postmaster or installation head.
In English Language Punctuation, an Oxford Comma is placed immediately after the penultimate term in a series of three or more terms to resolve ambiguity in connection between a series of terms, items, or places.
The comma after corridors, and before auditoriums denotes the fact that security force personnel can only prohibit photography in auditoriums when used for public meetings.
Absent a crime, security force personnel or other authorized personnel have no say so in First Amendment Protected Activity within the Time, Place, and Manner restrictions in entrances, lobbies, foyers, or corridors.

Title 41, Section 102-74.420 of the Code of Federal Regulations provides federal "policy concerning photographs for news, advertising or commercial purposes." It states that persons entering in or on Federal property may take photographs of building entrances, lobbies, foyers, corridors, or auditoriums for news purposes.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The South Carolina trespass statute applies only to private property and has
no application to public property absent a crime.
