Kakenya Ntaiya, as a young Maasai girl in a small Kenyan village, said to her father & her tribe I don't want to have to quit school at 12 and marry some boy you picked out for me when I was 5. Defying tradition and all odds, she got her way, then eventually her PhD, & has now returned home to build a school for girls to give others the same opportunity she had. This video is from my visit to Kakenya and her school to see the difference it is making for the girls & the parents.
