This video shows how to install your kaizen prop rack base.
Sean is using the hexagon base as an example, but the technique applies to all bases. He's also just using a screwdriver for peops who don't have screwguns. If you have a screwgun, make sure to go slowly and gently, so as not to tear into your wall and mess it up.
The video shows using the drywall anchors. It also shows challenges and issues that you might encounter along the way and troubleshooting:
- what you need to get started
- determine which holes to use 0:20
- determining the height 1:01
- make sure it's level 1:40
- mark your screw holes 2:19
- determine if there are studs underneath 2:55
- installing drywall anchors 4:38
- potential issue #1: anchor shifted, stripped out sheetrock 5:50
- potential issue $2: anchor tip broke 6:42
- screwing base into wall, using the spacers 7:10
