This summer I rewatched the Steins;Gate series. I love the story, aesthetic, and everything so much. I enjoy when the show gets really eerie and spooooky, this little song plays with swelled guitars and it's just really nice, ya know. Yeah, I basically heard that and thought, "I wanna make that, but different."

At that point this summer, I hadn't written anything in a bit and I really wanted to make some new stuff. I pretty much willed the song into existence and it was pretty sick. It took like two or three takes to come up with that first swelled guitar part, like ten to come up with the other guitar part, and after about half an hour I'd written the intro.

It didn't just happen instantaneously, but this song did get written pretty quickly. I just knew from the moment I laid down that first guitar what I needed to do with the rest of the arrangement, and that's pretty inspiring!
