ℹ️ Leaving Gijon was pleasant enough until suddenly it wasn’t. The outskirts of town are filled with steel mills that are dusty, loud, and make for a challenging walk. Once we get into the countryside, the walk is much nicer into Aviles which on our layover was hosting a biking event and a vintage car road rally. Just a normal evening on the Camino!
