Allosaurus fragilis. The lions of the Jurassic. These large carnivores lived between 155 to 145 million years ago. Bones to this large predator are some of the most abundant found in the Morrison and make up a vast majority of the specimens excavated here at the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry.
