Jurassic Team Leader Richard Forrest gives us a rundown of the Kellaways Formation and the objectives for the Jurassic side of the dig. What do we know about what was happening here in the Callovian (Middle Jurassic) and which questions still need answering? Is this work just as important as the Pleistocene side of the dig?

Palaeocast was granted special access to 2024's excavations at Cerney Wick, allowing us to record media from within the field. On our website, you'll find hours of multimedia captured at different stages throughout the field season. We begin with a podcast that introduces the locality and details the plans for the upcoming dig, this is followed by several days of recording at the site itself and finally a record of the legacy of the year’s fieldwork.
