We take a drive on California State Route 158, known as the June Lake Loop. This scenic drive leads us past June Lake, through the town of June Lake, and on through the mountains past a number of other lakes. The north end of this road is very close to Mono Lake, so we drive on over to Mono Lake to take a hike and view the strange tufa formations that this lake is known for.
