This is the first song I ever heard that I knew I could make a tribute to Juliet with. Juliet Burke is one of my all time favourite fictional characters and her journey is heartwrenching. I tried to show it all not just sawyer. could have done more sun but i got it in there. And its my sisters band once again! plugging them!!
To explain my interpretation of the lyrics and her character. Something people often say about her is that her decision to side with jack in the s5 finale wasn't true to her... i was trying to show that based on everything she went through... she was left very broken and insecure and a brash decision to throw her life away rather than face reality tracks with her perfectly. the titular lyric to me is juliet herself expressing her insecurity, really she needs love and validation but so often has she been let down she doesn't think she is worthy anymore. So yes the lyric repetition at the end with her final scene may seem off, but its more that finally, sawyer showed her even after death that she was worth waiting for. :) best girl best show best song for it.
