May 29, 2024 Oconee County Probate Judge Danny Singleton ordered his deputies to take into custody Dr. Jason Boyle and detain him in jail without bond, for merely recording his interactions
with public officials at the County Courthouse in Walhalla South Carolina. Jason Boyle PhD was waiting on his paperwork when he was confronted, accosted, and arrested, for exercising his
1st Amendment Constitutional Rights in the publicly accessible areas of the County Courthouse.
June 5, 2024 Oconee County Probate Judge Danny Singleton entered a criminal contempt order on Jason Boyle, for breaking no law, and sentenced him to a cruel and unusual punishment of 60 days
incarcerated for allegedly violating a Supreme Court of South Carolina Administrative Order.
He is currently serving this unjust sentence at the Oconee County Detention Center.
