Since it's prom season. I was thinking back to my Senior Prom four years ago. I went to a Christian school, so our proms were called Junior-Senior Banquets (JSB for short). It was awesome though. That year we had a masquerade ball with classy gala-style dancing at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria in Sacramento. If you're doubting the classiness of a library, then first off... I was toying around with learning acoustic guitar at the time, and immediately thought: "I could use this to get girls..." Haha, one girl in particular actually: a beautiful brunette soprano that I was in choir with.
Lol, so I actually did my very first song rewrite of "Don't You Forget About Me" as made famous by the Breakfast Club movie. *Note, two things I am still working on. 1. How to play the guitar. 2. How to play and sing at the same time...
Luckily for me, she didn't care, and cut me off at the start of the first chorus with a big hug and a "Yes!"
It was truly the best night ever (of high school). We even dated for a while after that.
Now, four years later, I thought I'd actually record it for nostalgia's sake... and to show you lovely ponies another side of me.
